Research Focus

OpenWorkspace® is built on a proprietary system architecture that defines how digital content and activity are structured, experienced, and revisited across user interfaces.

Our research is deliberately focused on a single, persistent problem in modern computing: how information is surfaced to the user. Today's systems rely on manual window management and flat presentation models, forcing users to continually reconstruct what matters most while holding surrounding context in their head.

At the core of our work is a simple observation: not all information carries the same importance at the same moment, yet existing systems rarely make this distinction explicit. Our research aims to evolve how information is presented by enabling users to define what is primary (focal) and what is secondary (contextual) within their workspace. Crucially, these affordances are designed to operate on the user's surface of choice.

Through common sense innovation, our technology surfaces this focal–contextual structure directly and holistically across windowing environments where muscle memory is already formed. Whether the underlying system is Windows, macOS, or another platform, OpenWorkspace fills long-standing gaps in how these systems support attention, continuity, and recall—both within individual ecosystems and across the broader cross-platform environment.

Intellectual Property

To provide transparency and confidence in our innovative journey, we set forth below an overview of the intellectual property that protects our technology in support of this vision, with each domain reflecting our commitment to deliver industry-leading solutions for the next era of the desktop.
